Irene Perkoulidis
February 2023 – Dr. Irene Perkoulidis has her practice in a warm and beautiful clinic space in Castlemaine, Central Victoria.
Irene is a registered Chinese Medicine practitioner, trained in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She is passionate about incorporating the long practiced techniques of Classical Chinese Medicine into the primary health care regime of each client.
Irene was raised in the country, with the balance of spiritual practice alongside a family full of Nurses and Doctors. She has always felt a natural affinity for helping people find their own personal balance. She has experience in working with clients of all ages and genders, with special interest in working with the LGBTIA+ community.
Irene is AHPRA registered and has worked in the industry for over 15 years. She offers an open-minded, non-judgmental space with a strong emphasis on assisting people to understand and connect to their bodies.
Irene holds qualifications in Chinese Medicine – Bach. Health Science (Southern School of Natural Therapies), as well as a Certificate in Hoffman Massage.

Chinese Medicine Consultation (Acupuncture & Chinese Herbs)
Includes acupuncture and Chinese herbal prescription where appropriate.
Initial Consultation 60-90 minutes
Follow-up Consultation 45-60 minutes

Private Health Fund rebates: Available if you have Natural Therapies under your Insurance provider. Depending on your level of cover, patients will get anywhere from $19 – $58 back per treatment. See your individual fund for more details. If you bring your membership card, we can claim on the spot via our HICAPS EFTPOS machine.
Cancellation Policy
As a courtesy, and to provide opportunity for other clients to book we request that you give us at least 48 hours notice when rescheduling or cancelling your appointment. We are understanding in the event of emergencies, and will waive the fee in these instances.
By booking at Silk Tree Chinese Medicine you agree that we reserve the right to charge the full treatment cancellation fee if less notice is given. If you miss your appointment on the day, the full fee is payable.
